Benedict Vilakazi: My Top 5 Pirates and Top 5 Kaizer Chiefs

BUCS legend Benedict Vilakazi creates his perfect five-a-side Soweto Derby starting line-up. By naming the Top five Orlando Pirates player’s ever, and the Top five Kaizer Chiefs player’s ever to take the field, in his experienced opinion.

Surprisingly enough he leaves out the fan favourites, Junior Khanye of Chiefs, as well as Pirates General Teko Modise.

“ Obviously one is me(laughing away), two would be the late Lesley Manyathela, three would be Thabo Mngomeni, four would be Old John Mabizela and the fifth player I would add is Jerry Skosana,” Tso told This Is Football Africa

“ The first would be the skillful Thabo Mooki, the second one would be the full back Cyril Nzama, the third the tricky Jabu Pule, the fourth would be the late Scara Ngobese, and the fifth one is Fabian McCarthy, I think that is the five,” continued Tso Vilakazi as he named the Amakhosi top five players.

“These teams are balanced, these were players that were always in the starting line-up every time there was a derby. Also those players were also doing well and thriving at their respective clubs.”
