Former Black Leopards defender Victor Kamhuka has joined Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria Callies.

Kamhuka joined Callies on a short term contract as a free agent after spending several months without a team following his departure at Vietnam’s top flight league side Thanh Hoa FC in July last year.

He put pen to paper to sign six months deal with the Pretoria based outfit set to run until the end of the ongoing season.

The deal mark’s Kamhuka returns to South Africa after a decade, having spent spells with Black Leopards and the now defunct side Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The gangly defender left Lidoda Duvha in July 2013 to join Dynamos and later How Mine in Zimbabwe. The 32-year old center back spent most of his career plying his trade in Southern Asian countries including India, Myanmar and Malaysia.

Callies are placed 13th on the log standings with 18 points after 19 games, the club next assignment will be against Magesi FC on Sunday 26 February 2023 at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium Kickoff is at 15:30.
