DStv Diski Challenge: Week 7 Wrap Up

In the second month, DStv Diski Challenge rained goals. There were big scores and crushing wins over the weekend, with a total of 30 goals scored.

It was a great weekend in the league, Cape Town City tasting their first defeat, while Kaizer Chiefs walloped Mamelodi Sundowns, but there has been no change at the top of the table despite the top team losing.

Saturday:

Royal AM were the biggest winners in the Dstv Diski Challenge League this weekend, beating the log leaders Cape Town City 4-1 at home. However, the Citizens remain on top as they are four points clear of second placed Stellenbosch.

Marumo Gallants picked up their second win after beating Swallows, while on the other hand, Maritzburg United won big as they hammered Richards Bay 4-2 at home. Golden Arrows moved up to sixth place on the table as they outgunned Chippa United with a score of 3-2.

Sekhukhune United took down TS Galaxy 2-1 to register their second win of the season. The loss left the Rockets in last place with three points, two points behind the Chilli Boys, who had lost 3-2 to Arrows.

Elsewhere in the league on Saturday, SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
