A Sekhukhune United defender may be on the move in the next transfer window given his limited game time.
Denwin Farmer, one of the many players that joined Babina Noko at the beginning of the 2022/23 season on a two-year deal, now has a year and five months left on his contract. But news reaching us is that he is on his way out in search for a new PSL club.
Indications are that Farmer will not form part of the future plans of coach Brandan Truter’s team next season..
Farmer had his first professional stint in the PSL with Supersport United but his best football was performed at Peter Mokaba Stadium with Baroka
He was Baroka second most utilized player last campaign behind Evidence Makgopa, who himself secured a move to Orlando Pirates.
The centre back made 28 appearances in all competitions and managed to score two goals for Baroka
According to a reliable source a club that is interested in him is Maritzburg United. A team where he could reunite with former Baroka teammate Bonginkosi Makume.
The 26-year-old centre back has made only two appearances for Sekhukhune United this season and previously won the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 with Supersport United in 2017.
Farmer has also played for the South Africa national under-23 team at the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nation’s.
