Golden Arrows have signed Sicelokuhle Hlatshwayo just weeks after the former Polokwane City defender parted ways with Marumo Gallants.

Information reaching this publication is that Hlatshwayo had penned a three-year-deal with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit, and he will officially join the team when they resume after the international break.

“The deal is done, it’s a three-year contract,” a ThisIsFootball.Africa source close to a player confirmed.

Hlatshwayo joined Gallants in July during the 2021/22 campaign, but was unfortunate not to be a regular under coach Dan Malesela who joined Bahlabane Ba Ntwa in November 2021.

After Malesela’s departure in June this year, the 28-year-old defender started playing regularly under the now fired coach Romain Folz. However when Malesela returned to the club in September, it proved once again that Hlatshwayo was not in Malesela’s plans.

And as previously reported by this publication, the player had mutually terminated his contract with the team after he represented Gallants only seven times in the DStv Premiership this season, collecting two Man of The Match awards in those games.
