Relegation is staring Marumo Gallants in the face, and it is time for them to take drastic measures to save their status.
They are sitting at the bottom of the log, with fourteen points from twenty games, three points behind Swallows FC who have two games in hand.
With ten games to go, it has become clear that Dan Malesela is struggling to lift the team off the bottom of the log, and time is running out for Gallants management to come up with an intervention.
But what can they do to save their Dstv Premiership status?
Cometh the hour, Cometh Dylan Kerr.
If there is a coach you can bet your last cent on to save a team from relegation, it is Dylan Kerr.
The 56-year-old eccentric Kerr last coached Swallows FC, whom he saved from imminent relegation via the play-offs last season.
But after a string of poor results earlier in the current campaign, Kerr was shown the door by the Swallows Management.
Dylan Kerr is a man who thrives on challenges, and Marumo Gallants might be just the right challenge for him.
Besides doing a great job saving Swallows FC, Kerr has performed wonders for the likes of Baroka FC and Black Leopards as well, saving them from the jaws of the dreaded drop to the first division.
Marumo Gallants, with a team that they have, might not be too difficult a task for Kerr to take care of.
Despite playing some attractive football, Gallants have failed to get the desired results, having won only two out of twenty matches, with nine draws and nine losses.
Their next match will be against the on-form Sekhukhune United on the 4th of February.
