Katlego Otladisa’s agent, Nimrod Mbhalati has refuted rumours over the Marumo Gallants’ star possible move to Kaizer Chiefs but revealed there are two teams showing interest.
Otladisa, who made headlines in the past two transfer windows, is believed to be monitored by and already in talks with Amakhosi as it was reported in the media last week.
Before the current season started, Chiefs were thought to be leading the race for the former Mamelodi Sundowns player’s signature, but the deal didn’t materialize.
Otladisa, whose Gallants side will be participating in the CAF Confederations Cup this season, has featured in 12 games for the team this season so far, setting up two goals for his teammates.
While Mbhalati was not willing to reveal the interested teams’ names, he was adamant that no transfer talks are being underway between him, Otladisa and the Soweto giants
“I’ve seen those speculations, there is no truth on that. We are not talking to Chiefs,” Mbhalati told Thisisfootball.Africa.
“Those are jokes, there is no truth. The only thing is, I think two PSL teams are talking to Marumo Gallants. But they haven’t spoken to me yet.”
The 26-year-old just signed a three-year-deal with Bahlabane Ba Ntwa in July 2021. If the dribbling wizard does join Chiefs, Gallants will be losing another important player after having let go of Philip Ndlondlo and Miguel Timm, who both joined Orlando Pirates at the start of the season.
The Limpopo outfit sits 11th on the DStv Premiership table with 13 points, winning two, drawn seven and lost three games.
