Former Orlando Pirates star Khethokwakhe Masuku has named his best PSL XI, with most of the players in the line-up being his former teammates at Pirates.
Masuku is currently in the books of the Motsepe Foundation Championship side MM Platinum, famously known as La Masia. The dribbling wizard joined La Masia at the start of the 2022/23 season on a free transfer.
“I would like to thank La Masia for giving me an opportunity, because I’ve been looking for a club for a long time, and they believed in me. So I’m looking forward to sharing my experience with the rest of my teammates,” Masuku told ThisisFootball.Africa.
The Soweto-born star spelled out his goals and what he would like to achieve with the Westbury-based outfit.
“For now, I can’t say we are dreaming about promotion to the PSL. If it happens, that will be great, and we’ll take that opportunity. We are ready to gain promotion,” he added.
Masuku broke into the scene and gained prominence in 2007 with Black Leopards where he made a name for himself. The 37-year-old winger who is known for his dribbling ability to eliminate defenders to create goals scoring opportunities, signed for Pirates ahead of the 2012/13 campaign and spent three seasons with the club.
