Cassius Mailula and Monnapule Saleng are on fire, the two forwards have been in scintillating form for Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, scoring crucial goals and providing assists.

The 21-year-old Mamelodi Sundowns forward has been a revelation this season.

Just yesterday, he led his side to a 3-1 victory over Coton Sport in Cameroon. He grabbed a brace and an assist in the match, taking his overall goal tally to six in the CAFCL, having also scored three times in the qualifying round.

Mailula has scored twelve goals for Downs this season, with five assists in his name.

Saleng was once again the main protagonist as Orlando Pirates beat Maritzburg United yesterday.

Saleng scored Amabhakaniya’s first goal with a well taken shot from range, before setting up Dzvukamanja for the second goal from a pin point free kick.

He has scored nine goals for Bucs this season across all competitions, with five assists to boast!

The 24-year-old forward collects MOTM for fun, with eight so far this season.

Amazulu FC hand Romain Folz a long term contract.

Romain Folz has signed a three year contract with the ambitious Durban side.

His new contract will start on 01 July 2023 and end on 30 June 2026, his current contract will expire at the end of the current campaign.

“We felt it was important to build and put stability into the team with hundred percent support on the Head Coach,” said Amazulu chairman, Sandile Zungu.

“Fohloza understands and buys into our vision for 2032. Not only do we believe he will take us there, even our objective of Top 4 finish and qualifying for one of the CAF competitions is very much viable under his guidance.”
