News reaching our desk is that three clubs in the Dstv Premiership have made informal enquires into the availability of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo.
According to the information made available to ThisIsFootball.Africa, Nange will see his contract with Chiefs come to an end on June 30th this year, with it being unlikely that the Soweto giants will look to extend the player’s stay.
Now, according to a source close to the player, three clubs have made enquiries into the players availability.
Supersport United, Stellebosch and Sekhukhune United who are all showing keen interest in Nange, have looked into availability for the upcoming new season.
Nange joined Chiefs in 2021, but will soon look to begin a new chapter of his professional football career in the coming months. The 31-year old has only featured in three Dstv Premiership matches this season, and seems to be behind the likes of Keagan Dolly, Yussuf Maart, Siyathemba Sithebe and Mduduzi Shabalala in the pecking order.
Supersport United head coach Gavin Hunt is believed to have recommended Nange to the Chiefs management, while he was still in charge of the Glamour Boys, but at the time Amakhosi had a transfer ban. Hunt had worked with the midfielder during their time at Bidvest Wits.
The Limpopo born midfielder subsequently joined Stellebosch before finally making his way to the Naturena based outfit ahead of the 2021/22 season, but unfortunately Hunt was already relieved of his duties.
It now remains to be seen if Chiefs will opt to keep him on their books. An announcement on the future of the player is expected to be made soon.
