In the wake of the new Cameroonian striker Souaibo Marou coming on board, Orlando Pirates still remain undecided as to which forward, they will offload. A source close to this site has confirmed that striker Terrence Dzvukamanja was very close to being a done deal last week to move to SuperSport United. But was then surprisingly found himself in the team against Lamontville Golden Arrows and scored!
With the arrival of striker Souaibo Marou at Pirates the hope is that this will accelerate the deal and we’ll see the Zimbabwean eventually joining Gavin Hunts’ Matsatsantsa in this January Window period.
The move was allegedly already agreed by both clubs, and he should have joined last week Friday, to start training on Monday under his former coach. They worked together at the now defunct Bidvest Wits.
To add to the dilemma of the deal, according to unconfirmed sources, the Orlando Pirates coach was not informed about the deal and then played the player, who then went on to score one of the goals in their 3-1 victory against Arrows. But since then Dzvukamanja has also played against Stellenbosch, coming off the bench. This has led to more uncertainty around who Pirates might release. It remains to be seen whether Dzvukamanja will be allowed to leave now that he is back in contention for the first eleven. While Cameroonian striker Bievenu Eva Nga, who has only played eight games this season, totalling 455 minutes on the pitch with one goal could be the one on his way out with Chippa United tipped as a possible home
However if a deal for Terrence is not possible will Hunt look towards Eva Nga, another former player who played at the Clever Boys?
