Thembinkosi Lorch and Goodman Mosele are doubtful for Orlando Pirates’ derby clash with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday after leaving the field “prematurely” in their last league game against Maritzburg.
The duo reportedly felt discomfort in the early stages of their victory over Maritzburg at Orlando Stadium, a game which took them to third spot in the DStv Premiership standings.
The Buccaneers announced on Friday that Lorch and Mosele are in danger of missing the clash against the Glamour Boys at FNB Stadium.
“Goodman Mosele and Thembinkosi Lorch each left the field prematurely over the last two games and might not feature. Therefore they will possibly be joining the likes of Nkosinathi Sibisi and Richard Ofori on the sidelines,” read the club’s statement.
On the other hand, coach José Riveiro will also serve his last match after he was red carded in his side’s 2-0 win over All Stars in the Nedbank Cup two weeks ago.

“Bucs coach José Riveiro will once again be absent from the bench as he sits out the last game of his red-card suspension,” Pirates added.
“The Spaniard could be joined on the sidelines by several members of the Pirates playing personnel, who are doubtful starters on Saturday.”
The Soweto Derby will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at the FNB Stadium, with the match scheduled for 15h30.
