A PSL Club that originates from Limpopo, has joined the race to sign Cape Town-born Ayanda Patosi. The former Cape Town City man is also wanted by Iranian clubs Sanat Mes Kerman FC who find themselves fourteenth on the log and Gol Gohar Sirjan FC who are in third place and both these teams are campaigning in the Persian Gulf Pro League.

Pato as he is known, has managed to engineer 28 goal involvements, which divides into 18 goals and 11 assists in 78 Gulf Pro League appearances.

“I just arrived home yesterday from Iran, I turned down a few offers in Iran because I felt like it was time for me to change countries,” Ayanda told iDiski Times Journalist,Sinethemba Makonco, in an article that was published yesterday.

“I had a concrete offer with one of the teams in Iran. Now I am home and spending time with my family.”

Patosi has also addressed the rumours that he was training at DStv Premiership club Cape Town City, and that he might join them again, for the third time.

“I am not training with any team as you know I have a good relationship with Mr. John Comitis but we haven’t spoken about anything yet.”

However, the latest interest is from Sekhukhune United, who are trying to add more quality to their squad having signed Kamohelo Mokotjo the former Bournemouth FC midfielder. Ayanda is a free agent so he can be signed and registered at any team at any point in the year as he is not tied to any club having mutually parted ways with Foolad FC.
