Incoming Sekhukhune United coach Brandon Truter seems to have made a big impression on the players and coaches within the club and head of development mentor, Thabo Senong is one of them.

Babina Noko announced the former Swallows coach Truter as their new head coach early last month. He succeeded Kaitano Tembo who was sacked after a run of poor performances. Truter joined the club on a contract that will see him at the team until 2025.

The former Lesotho national team coach has heaped praise on Truter believing that the former Amazulu mentor’s training methods, man-management style and tactical innovations could make a massive change at the club.

“When I see coach Truter, I see a qualified coach who is very knowledgeable and has experience about our league, I have no doubt that he will take us to an excellent position on the league table,” Senong told Thisisfootball.Africa.

“We have got good players, we have got good management that is backing us up, so I see him enjoying his work here and him getting the best out of the group that we have at Sekhukhune United.

“Coach Truter is the coach who promoted Swallows, who were nowhere in the NFD before he took over. He brought them to the big league.

“He made Swallows one of the power houses in the league in terms of style of play and competitiveness, so I see a good coach who can bring positive results for us.”
