Sundowns Duo Close To Move

Keletso Makgalwa going out on his fourth loan deal in total

Mamelodi Sundowns are pushing to come to an agreement of a loan deal with a PSL Club plying their trade in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, a coup which involves Keletso Makgalwa and Promise Mkhuma. All Stars FC, the team in question, seems to be the front runners, as we previously reported that there were a host of DStv Premiership clubs in search of their services, which included basement dwellers Marumo Gallants.

Makgalwa had a promising career under Pitso Mosimane at Downs, was loaned to TS Galaxy at the beginning of the campaign and just made five appearances in all competitions. At 26, he has been on numerous loans, first with Maritzburg United(2018), Swallows FC(2021) and lastly the Rockets as mentioned above.

Mkhuma, another promising player to come out of the DStv Diski Challenge was supposed to be loaned to Swallows at the beginning of the campaign but couldn’t be registered because Maswaiswai were under an enforced transfer ban. Promise, 22, has played 23 competitive first team football games of which three were in the CAF Champions league.

All Stars are pushing to get these deals over the line, before the window closes at midnight and with this also reignite their chances of playing in the South African topflight league.
