SuperSport United have their eye on two Orlando Pirates players, with the exit door looming large at Mayfair, with a clean up on the cards.
Both Thabang Monare and Terrence Dzvukamanja have rarely made the first team this season. Despite a recent run of games, it will not come as a surprise that they are both linked with a move away from the club.
Zimbabwean international, Dzvukamanja, is said to be on the wanted list of his former coach Gavin Hunt. Having made a total of three appearances this season for the Buccaneers, and being 28 of age, finding a club will prove easier for him as compared to his teammate Monare, who may face a spell in the wilderness should he be released, as age is against him. Earlier in the season Monare was told that his contract will not be renewed but he was soon recalled to the Pirates first team and both players may both now be back in the coaches’ plans.

During this time Monare became a person of interest to Gavin Hunt but SuperSport’s preference however is with Phathutshedzo Nange of Kaizer Chiefs. Amakhosi became unsure in terms of pursuing Luke Fleurs which brought about a delay, which led to the Fleurs committing to a new three-year contract. This led in turn to Chiefs being unwilling to do a swap deal involving Nange.
