Truter Reveals a Department That Gives Him Headache

Sekhukhune United head coach Brandon Truter has revealed a department that is giving him headache currently at Babina Noko despite his team winning the last two DStv Premiership matches.

Truter has been in charge of three matches at Babina Noko since he joined the team last year in November 2022. However, the former Swallows coach feels unsatisfied with some areas in his team even though he hasn’t lost a single game since he joined the team. So far, he managed to make two signings at Sekhukhune having brought in Mzwanele Mahashe who was released by TS Galaxy and Philani Zulu who he worked with at AmaZulu in December.

“Of course, if you don’t concede [goals] you don’t lose, but the back four so far [there’s] some new strategies, some new tactics in the back four. And, hopefully it’ll get us more clean sheets. The department that’s giving me headaches at the moment is the front line,” he told ThisIsFootball.Africa.

Truter believes Sekhukhune United have talented attackers who offer different skills upfront which can give them a good balance. In the last three matches he’s been in charge of his team, managed to score four goals and collected seven points.

“There [is] so much amount of huge talent in the attackers that we have, we have disposal, we have dribblers, we have good finishers, we have speed. So, it [is] finding the correct balance upfront for us. But everybody has their own strengths, that’s what we have to find at the moment,” he added.

Babina Noko’s third game of the year will be away from home against Stellenbosch on Saturday evening at Danie Craven stadium.
