Tshakhuma Tsha Madivhandila manager, Azwi Phasha has dismissed Cheslyn Jampies’ claims that the club did not pay him for the last four months.

The 32-year-old left back joined the Motsepe Foundation Championship side in July this year, but he was abruptly released by Sekhukhune United, after only spending four months with the club.

Speaking to ThisIsFootball.Africa this week, Jampies claimed he went without his salary for four months. He further went on to reveal his many additional unhappy experiences at the club.

TTM have been angered by the claims from the Cape Town born defender, and have denied their former captain’s allegations.

“He came here and the first month and we paid him half of his salary because it was pro rata. You are paid according to the number of the days that you worked. His was half because he joined the team in the middle of the month,” Phasha told ThisIsFootball.Africa

“Then the second month he got his full salary. The third month that’s where we said we will pay you, but let’s first negotiate the termination agreement. At the time we were paying his accommodation as well.

“The reason he was brought in to the team is we thought he was going to add value and experience. But when he arrived here, he couldn’t run up and down properly, because of his weight. The technical team and coach said this person is not going to add value to our team, it’s better we separate on good terms as early as possible, that’s what really happened.

“These allegations and everything are untrue. Obviously when someone has anger in them and is bitter he or she will say whatever they want to say at that moment of time.”

Jampies now finds himself out in the cold searching for employment.
