TUT Football get Sponsorship Deal

TUT kit reveal

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Women’s Football have agreed a two-year partnership with Monflair, a fast-growing sportswear brand, with the company becoming the TUT’s new main technical shirt sponsor.

South African sportswear brand’s name will appear in the 2022/2023 season women’s team shirts as well as next season, with the two sides expected to extend the contract beyond the current agreement. And as TUT’s main partner, Monflair brand will appear on screens and media backdrops at TUT and across the club’s digital platforms.

Monflair also sponsor DStv Premiership sides in Marumo Gallants and Chippa United as well as the Motsepe Foundation Championship club, Baroka FC.

During the partnership announcement in the presence of Thisisfootball.Africa at TUT main campus in Pretoria on Friday, Monflair co-owner Mahlako Mahapa said their intention is to see women’s football growing.

“When the opportunity came, saying we have the opportunity to work with the women’s football of TUT, it was no-brainer for myself as a woman in this industry to say I like empowerment for women and to see women being supported,” said Mahapa.

“And, obviously, it’s an honour for us to have this opportunity to work with you starting from today. If you are a brand, you always want to associate yourself with the winning teams. And as you are the group of champions, it’s a no-brainer for us to want to align with that.

“In a five year of our existence, we have managed to work with a number of PSL teams. We sponsor Baroka, Marumo Gallants and Chippa United just mention few. So, we are looking forward to this partnership.”
